A Sutton-in-Craven man has been sent to crown court to face 12 charges of indecent assault on an underage girl.
Andrew Edward Robert Armstrong, 69, is said to have committed 12 separate sexual offences on the girl between 1972 and 1981. Armstrong, of no fixed abode, but with a care of address in Walton Street, Sutton, appeared at Skipton Magistrates Court on Friday when he entered no pleas.
His case was adjourned to Bradford Crown Court to June 14. He was given bail on the condition not to contact in any way by person or by electronic means the two main witnesses.
