St Andrew’s Church: On Sunday, there will be services of Holy Communion at 8.15am and 10am. From 2.30pm to 4.30pm, tea and scones will be served in the Parish Rooms and the church will be open for visitors.
Farnhill Methodist Church: The monthly coffee morning will be held on Saturday, from 10am until 11.30am. Coffee and biscuits are 70p. Bric-a-brac, cakes, clothes and knitted goods will also be on sale.
Computer class: A computer class for the over-50s is held at Farnhill Methodist Church on Monday at 2.30pm.
Village Pump: The over-50s group meets in the lower hall at Farnhill Methodist Church on Wednesday, from 2pm to 3.30pm.
Book exchange: The free book and jigsaw puzzle exchange will be held in Kildwick and Farnhill Institute today (Thursday) from 10am to 12.30pm. Tea and coffee will be available.
Village Calendar: Kildwick and Farnhill Institute is preparing its 2014 calendar. Entries of photos (maximum three per entrant) featuring scenes in the parishes of Kildwick and Farnhill should be sent to candcbrigham@gmail.com by July 31. Entries must meet rules given at kildwickfarnhill.org.uk or Farnhill.co.uk.
