Budget supermarket Aldi hopes to open its new Skipton store before Christmas.
Work on the store, on part of the Skipton Ford site off Keighley Road, started last month.
The store, which will be less than half the size of the town’s Tesco and Morrisons supermarkets, will include parking for 85 cars.
