Employees at a Settle bank completed a step-a-thon to raise £300 for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

Six colleagues at HSBC borrowed a cross trainer from local business Susan’s & Images, and spent 30-minute intervals on the machine to keep it running non-stop from 9.30am to 4pm.

Suzanne Bownass said: “It was a learning curve and we were all a bit achy the next day, but it was worth it because we raised £300 for a local charity that’s been used by people we know.”
