The Folly at Settle will host a re-enactment of 17th century life as part of the national Festival of Archaeology.

The event, Craven’s Past – Bringing Documents To Life, will take place on Wednesday and will see members of Ingleborough Archaeology Group re-enacting 17th century life, using wills, inventories and other objects from the museum.

The re-enactments will take place at 10.30am and 2pm. Admission of £3 includes refreshments and the chance to see the Yorkshire Archaeological Society’s exhibition, Family stories: 150 years of discovery. Tickets are available from the tourist information centres at Settle and Ingleton and from the Folly.
