8:00am Sunday 11th August 2013 in News
A coffee morning held in Kettlewell Village Hall raised £1,428.70 with donations still flooding in.
The event was raising money for three good causes –Sands, Airedale Maternity Unit and Team Cystic Fibrosis. It was also organised in memory of Freddie Close who was born sleeping on July 10, 2012.
His parents John and Louise Close were overwhelmed with the support from near and far for these charities, with £300 raised by family and friends before the event took place.
Louise said: “I would like to pass on my heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped raise this amazing amount of money, it will help others in the future in so many ways.”
