A new hair dressing salon, aimed at offering quality gentlemen’s haircuts, has opened in Skipton.
Local entrepreneur Mauro Savignano opened the new venture called Azzurri in Keighley Road and welcomed his first client on Saturday, July 27.
The salon will initially be catering for men, with the idea of expanding to offer women’s hairdressing facilities in the near future.
Mauro has worked for Skipton- based salon Carmines of Court Lane for the past 12 years.
Azzurri has created three jobs, with potential for more in the future.
Mr Savignano said: “I am absolutely thrilled to have opened my own salon. It has been a dream of mine for a long time, there has just never been a ‘right time’ before now to take the plunge.
“I am a naturally sociable person, this role suits me perfectly. I want Azzurri to become known for providing a modern yet laid back service offering the traditional quality cuts that people expect and deserve. I am hoping to see some familiar faces as well as welcoming some new ones.”
