Angel Inn at Hetton joins forces with Herald Angels for charity gourmet dinner

The Angels have joined forces to help a local hospice.
The award-winning Angel Inn at Hetton is putting on a charity gourmet dinner and donating all the proceeds to the Herald Angels – made up of Craven Herald advertising staff Lousie Head, Gemma Aldersley and Laura Moon – who are raising money for Manorlands in memory of Louise’s father, Peter, who died from cancer earlier this year.
The trio completed the Three Peaks Walk in June – and when Angel boss Pascal Watkins read about their exploits, he offered to put on a special dinner, with all proceeds going to the Sue Ryder hospice.
“It is a case of the Angel responding to Hark the Herald Angels’ call,” said Pascal.
The dinner, which will feature a seafood menu and Loire wines, will take place on Thursday, September 19, and tickets cost £60.
They are available from the Angel on (01756) 730263.
