Tax expert to give advice at Coniston Hotel event
8:00am Monday 2nd September 2013 in News
A free event at the Coniston Hotel, Coniston Cold, will give tips on paying the right amount of tax and positive thinking.
Tax expert Steve Moy, of St James’s Place Wealth Management, will discuss tax saving hints, focusing on Inheritance Tax, while Nick Sands, of Gargrave-based Belgrave Financial Services, will draw on his own life experiences for a talk on positive thinking.
Mr Sands said the event, on Wednesday, September 18, was designed to empower people to achieve greater things while also showing them how to legitimately save tax.
“Steve will be particularly focusing on inheritance tax. This is a tax that is increasing for many households and is payable at 40 per cent on assets above the nil rate band,” said Mr Sands.
“We will have an interesting and informative session, keeping jargon to the minimum and giving sensible, constructive advice.”
The event will also include a talk on the power of positive thinking given by Mr Sands and how it can help in business and in life.
The event, which will start at 6pm and will include refreshments, will be free, but numbers will be limited. To book a place, telephone Mr Sands on 01756 748000.
