Skipton man accused of perverting course of justice

A Skipton man charged with intent to pervert the course of justice has been sent to Bradford Crown Court. James Akrigg, 29, is charged with providing a signed statement to a police officer on July 21 claiming he had been the victim of a burglary. Akrigg, of Ramshaw Drive, appeared at Skipton Magistrates Court on Friday when his case was sent to Bradford for a preliminary hearing next Friday, September 20.
