HML in running for award
9:00am Monday 23rd September 2013 in News
Skipton-based HML has been shortlisted for a National Outsourcing Association Award.
The organisation, the UK and Ireland’s leading third-party financial outsourcing company, has been shortlisted in the ITO Project of the Year category following its adoption of a digital mailroom to deal with customer letters and faxes.
This has resulted in several benefits, including enabling consultants to spend more time on customer service than data entry.
In the past four years, HML has invested £30 million in IT.
Peter Proctor, senior programme manager at HML, said: “Although we have more than 25 years of experience in the industry, we recognise the importance of improvement through innovation.”
Kim Brien, chief information officer at HML, said: “It is testament to the quality of our change teams and, in this instance, the project team, that we have been shortlisted for an award.
“HML is proud to have been shortlisted in such a competitive category and we believe our experience, systems, people and willingness to embrace innovation are key differentiators in the third-party financial administration market.”
Meanwhile HML – part of Skipton Building Society – has launched a new website to act as a hub for guest blogs, features, whitepapers, newsletters and events.
