A man who breached a court order by sending text messages to his former wife has been ordered to pay £497 in fines and costs.
Joseph Fassenfeld was in breach of a county court non-molestation order when he sent messages to Rachel Robson between August 10 and September 2, Skipton magistrates heard on Friday.
Fassenfeld, of Albert Road, Cross Hills, had been in a relationship with Ms Robson for ten years and the messages had not been violent but an attempt to sort out childcare issues, the court heard.
Fassenfeld, who admitted the breach, was fined £375 and ordered to pay costs of £85 and a victims surcharge of £37.
