'Spooktacular' fun at Bolton Abbey
12:03pm Thursday 24th October 2013 in News
Some “spooktacular” fun will be on offer at Bolton Abbey over the half-term holiday.
The estate is holding a pumpkin trail through Strid Wood, where visitors are challenged to spot the hidden pumpkins and scary witches and unravel a magic spell.
“It’s great family fun,” said visitor manager Moira Smith. “And fancy dress is optional!”
The trail will be open from Saturday until next Sunday, November 3, and will start at the Cavendish Pavilion.
And, while the trail is free, normal estate admission charges apply.
Meanwhile, a children’s Halloween party at Cavendish Pavilion is now fully booked.
The party, which costs £6.95 per child, will be held next Thursday, October 31, from 4.30pm to 6pm.
It will include party games and food, but not a goodie bag as reported in last week’s Craven Herald.
