North Yorkshire Police’s firearms and explosive licensing department will hold an open day at police headquarters on Monday, December 9.
It will give residents in the county an opportunity to apply for the grant and renewal of firearms, shotgun and explosive certificates and the variation of firearms certificates.
Staff will also be able to deal with general inquiries about licensing.
Dave Coutts, who heads the department, said: “Face-to-face contact helps to improve customer relationships, ensuring we deliver the best possible service we can.”
The open day will run from 9.30am until 4pm at Newby Wiske Hall, Northallerton.
