Tired from running around Skipton, Santa will be in his sleigh when he makes his annual visit to the streets of the town in the run-up to Christmas.

His first ports of call will be Horse Close, Cawder Gill and Keighley Road next Thursday, December 5, followed by Greatwood (from the top end of Shortbank Road as far down as Aldersley Avenue and The Oval) next Friday.

His remaining itinerary is: Monday, December 9 - Hurrs Road and Moorview Way; Wednesday, the 11th - Sackville Street, Dukes Street, Ward Street, Ermysted Street and roads off Brougham Street and Westmoreland Street; Thursday, the 12th – Carleton; Friday, the 13th – Burnside; Monday, the 16th – Bradley; Wednesday the 18th - Regent and Overdale Grange; Thursday, the 19th - Embsay, Friday, the 20th - The Raikes, Raikswood Drive, Raikes Road, Grassington Road and Tarn Moor Crescent; and Monday, the 23rd - Rockwood, Gargrave Road, Gainsborough Court and Woodlands Drive.

He will start at 5.45pm each night and will aim to finish by 8pm. He will be accompanied by members of the Rotary Club of Skipton Craven and any changes due to bad weather will be on skiptoncravenrotary.co.uk.
