With high winds forecast tomorrow, Network Rail has imposed speed restrictions on train services running between Skipton and Morecambe/Carlisle This may mean slightly longer journey times.
“The speed restrictions are expected to be in place from start of service until 2pm and will help to ensure the safe running of our trains,” said a spokesman for train operator Northern Rail.
