Police are hunting a young thief, who sneaked into Gargrave Village Hall via a rear fire exit and stole a handbag from the kitchen area.
Police said the youth fled along with an accomplice who was on watch in the front car park when the theft occurred at about 6.25pm on Monday, November 25.
Both youths were wearing black hooded tops with the hoods up, one was also wearing a black cap, and both had black tracksuit bottoms.
