A Grassington woman is to stand trial for allegedly causing the death of a motorcyclist while driving without due care and attention.

Michelle Marshall, 53, appeared at Skipton Magistrates Court on Friday accused of causing the death of 49-year-old family man Dominic Paul Lee, from Trawden.

Marshall, of Springfield Court, is said to have caused the death of Mr Lee on May 1 at the old Harrogate Road junction with the A65 on the outskirts of Skipton.

Marshall elected crown court trial and was sent to Bradford Crown Court for a preliminary hearing next Friday, December 20.
