A range of tasty recipes collected from interesting places along the Settle-Carlisle railway line have been brought together for a new book.
Recipes Down the Line – A Taste of the Settle-Carlisle Railway includes treats such as Ribblehead Station Pie, Wensleydale and cranberry parcels and Roman honey cake from Tullie House Museum Developed by the Settle-Carlisle Railway Develop-ment Company, the cookery book features 40 recipes which have been donated by farmers, food producers, cafés and restaurants based along the route of the railway.
The book is on sale in Settle Tourist Information Centre, The Friends of the Settle Carlisle Line shops at Settle and Appleby stations, Café Express in Skipton station and online at shop.scrdc.co.uk.
It is priced £4.99.
