A 25-year-old man agreed to be bound over after making a derogatory comment to a woman in the Three Peaks Service Station, Ingleton.
Mark Brennand accepted that his conduct had been likely to cause a breach of the peace when he appeared before Skipton magistrates.
The court heard Brennand, of previous good character, had been in the service station on September 30 when he had made the comment to Michelle Routh, who was known to him.
Brennand, of Ingleton, agreed to be bound over to keep the peace for six months to the sum of £100.
