Music producer and guitarist Richard Dover knew just who to call when he decided to stage a charity concert.
And, next week, some big names in the music industry will head to Arncliffe to perform at a gig in aid of the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and the village hall.
“I approached musicians with whom I have worked over the past 30 years,” said Richard, who lives in Arncliffe.
The results of his efforts will be seen next Friday, December 20, when Richard Dover and Friends will take to the stage of Amerdale Hall.
Those taking part include Brit Award winning singer Beverley Craven, saxophonist Snake Davis, Steeton fiddle player and BBC Musician of the Year Tom McConville, bassist Danny Thompson, guitarist Chris Dawkins, percussionist Inder Goldfinger, pianist Chris Spencer and the United Voices choir.
“They are individual artists I have employed on productions over the years,” said Richard.
The gig starts at 8.30pm and tickets costing £20 are available at littondale.net.
