Skipton’s High Street market will be up and running throughout the festive holiday – including an extra market on Christmas Eve.
Anyone looking for last minute bargains will also be able to drop in on the market tomorrow, Saturday and Monday.
There will be no market on Christmas Day or Boxing Day, but it will be back as normal from next Friday, December 27 and again on all regular market days, including New Year’s Day, Wednesday, January 1.
Brett Butler, town centre manager, said the market was always popular over Christmas and New Year.
“The special market we’ve arranged for Christmas Eve will give people an extra chance to pick up those last minute Christmas bargains.”
Because of the extra market on Christmas Eve, people should not leave their cars parked on the High Street setts overnight on Monday.
Mr Butler added he and the town council would like to thank everyone who had supported the market during 2013.
