Police, fire and ambulance descended on Freda’s Playgroup in Settle – but there was no cause for panic.
The group was holding an emergency day as part of its topic on “people who help us”.
About 15 toddlers took part in the event, which included all three emergency services.
“The children were very excited,” said playgroup manager Heather Chapman.
“They loved sitting in the fire engine and getting bandaged up.”
