The defendant appeared at Skipton Magistrates' Court
A 36-year-old man has been sent to Bradford Crown Court for the alleged assault causing actual bodily harm of a youth in Skipton.
Shiaz Vilayat denies the assault which is said to have happened in Broughton Road last Wednesday. Vilayat, who appeared at Skipton Magistrates Court on Friday in custody, further denies possessing an offensive weapon in a public place on the same date.
Vilayat, of Charteris Road, Bradford, was remanded in custody to appear at Bradford Crown Court on Thursday, January 2.
