Thermal-wear giant Damart, whose warehousing facility is at Steeton, is helping the homeless and vulnerable this winter.

The company has donated boxes of thermals and warm clothing to the Bradford-based Immanuel Project, which provides hot meals and support to the needy.

The firm also supplied boxes of fudge for the charity’s Christmas party.

Damart senior ecommerce manager Ben Phillips said: “The project provides a lifeline to some of the most vulnerable people and we wanted to help.”
