There were no sleighs but an awful lot of Santas in Barnoldswick as 300 people took part in Bosom Friends fundraising Santa run.
The atmosphere was all about fun as Father Christmases of all ages warmed up to lively music in West Craven Sports Centre before setting out on a 5k route around the town.
First back was Andrew Carson, closely followed by Luke Wallwork and George Roe.
The first three women home were Linda Bostock, Emma Bailey and Lisa Beresford and the first three juniors were Sam Benson, Addison Willis and Sam Parker.
Commemorative medals were presented to all participants.
Entertainers added to the cheery atmosphere on the square as did a Christmas market on Frank Street.
“We had an amazing response to our appeal for sponsors and I am really grateful to them and to all the volunteers who helped on the day,” said organiser Sharon Hurst. “And of course a huge thank you must go to the 300 people who took part.”
