A Dales motorcyclist has been killed a crash in Bradford.
Russ White, 55, of Cliff View Cottage, Kettlewell, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash in Canal Road at 5.40pm on Monday, December 16.
Mr White, who was married, worked as a road marker for Kirklees Council.
An inquest was opened in Bradford on Thursday and was adjourned by Assistant Bradford Coroner Oliver Longstaff to allow further inquiries to be carried out.
Police have appealed for witnesses who saw the crash between the blue Yamaha bike and a red Kia Picanto at the junction with Frizinghall Road to contact police on 101.
Mr White’s funeral will take place at Kettlewell Village Hall on Saturday at 11.30am followed by interment in the churchyard of the village’s St Mary’s Church.
