Sara Spillett has taken over as clerk to Kettlewell-with-Starbotton Parish Council.
Sara, an enthusiastic paraglider pilot, has lived in the Dales all her adult life and moved to Kettlewell with her husband, Pete, 15 years ago.
She works from home full-time as a programme manager for the Environment Agency and is a chartered environmentalist with over 25 years’ experience of environmental regulation, legislation and policy development.
In her spare time, she is a member of the Upper Wharfedale Fell Rescue Association and chairman of Kettlewell Scarecrow Festival.
