Youngsters at two Craven schools ditched their usual attire in favour of more festive outfits.
Students at Skipton-based Craven Pupil Referral Service and West Craven High Technology College in Barnoldswick were taking part in a Christmas Jumper Day to raise funds for Save the Children.
Dale Hannah, head of the pupil referral unit, said: “All our pupils came dressed in non-uniform but clothes had to have a Christmas theme, with hats, jumpers, tinsel and so forth.”
The PRS hope to have raised at least £50 for the cause.
And festive jumper-clad pupils at West Craven High added another £405 to the charity’s coffers.
Its event was organised by science teacher Helen Waddington.
