Bradley residents are being given the chance to have a say about future development in their community.
Following the designation of the village as a neighbourhood area, Bradleys Both Parish Council can now prepare its own draft neighbourhood plan.
Working with Craven District Council, the plan will show how the level of growth identified in the area’s local plan will be met or exceeded.
The neighbourhood plan will need to be in line with strategic policies contained within the local plan, but is also an opportunity for the parish council to set out the vision, aims, local policies and proposals for future development.
Parish council chairman Coun Clare Wootton said: “The parish council’s steering committee will welcome the views of individual members of the community and village organisations in the drawing up of a draft plan.”
