The driver of a Range Rover caught speeding on the A59 at Beamsley Hill has been ordered to pay £415 by Skipton magistrates.
Pamela Jane Chadwick, 59, was recorded on a police safety camera doing 72mph in the 50mph limit at 7.40pm on June 9, the court heard.
Chadwick, of Church Street, Gargrave, admitted speeding in a letter to court, as well as failing to notify the DVLA of her new married name.
She was fined £300 after magistrates heard she already had three points on her licence for speeding in January this year.
She was also ordered to pay costs of £85 and victims surcharge of £38.
There was no separate penalty for the failing to notify change of name offence.
