A man out celebrating his birthday with friends was so drunk he damaged a car parked at Skipton Railway Station, a court heard.
Damon Whelan, 26, could remember nothing of the incident, but accepted he had been seen by police officers and it must have been true, Skipton magistrates heard.
When he was arrested following the incident at just before 2am on October 27, he was found to have £15 of cocaine in his possession.
Whelan, who admitted criminal damage estimated at £180 to the Skoda Octavia and possessing a class A drug, said he couldn’t remember anything, including buying the cocaine.
Whelan, of Broughton Road, Skipton, was given a 12-month conditional discharge and, for the drugs offence, was fined £300 with £85 costs and a £30 victims surcharge. He was also ordered to pay £180 compensation to the owner of the car.
