Police are appealing for information after a trailer and pump were stolen from a Yorkshire Water pumping station yard in Gargrave.
The £5,000 Wessex mobile workshop trailer and £15,000 Angus portable fire pump were taken from the yard next to the Anchor Inn on December 6 or 7.
PC Simon Crossley said: “It’s possible someone witnessed the theft of the trailer without realising what was happening.
“The trailer is clearly marked with the Yorkshire Water logo and I am appealing for anyone who believes they may have witnessed the theft or knows where the trailer and pump are now to contact the police.”
Anyone who can help should ring PC Crossley at Grassington Police on the non-emergency number, 101.
