Magistrates have urged a woman to seek help after she admitted being drunk and disorderly at Airedale Hospital.
Victoria Walker, 36, pleaded guilty to the offence, which happened on December 11, when she appeared before Bradford and Keighley Magistrates’ Court.
Prosecutor Nadine Clough told the court that Walker had phoned the police as she had locked herself out of her home, claiming she had been burgled and had taken an overdose of tablets.
Police took her to hospital, where she was abusive towards staff and police and had to be handcuffed and placed in leg restraints.
Walker, of Kirkgate, Keighley, was given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £100 costs.
