A Silsden pub is to close for three weeks for a £170,000 refurbishment.
The Robin Hood, in Kirkgate, will shut at 6pm on Sunday.
Licensee Darren Robinson, who has run the Punch Taverns-owned pub with his wife Sue since October, said: “There will be major work carried out throughout to give it a fresher look, whilst keeping the traditional feel and some of the original features like the stone flooring and open fires.
“More notably, we will be adding a kitchen so we can introduce a small range of homemade dishes into the pub.”
The revamp will also include an extension to the beer terrace.
Derick Cooper, for Punch Taverns, said: “We want to reposition the Robin Hood as one of the leading pubs that can provide great casks and a friendly community base.”
To celebrate the upcoming work, the pub is holding a party with disco from 8pm on Saturday.
