Skipton MP Julian Smith welcomed members of the local charity Petal to Westminster.
Formerly known as the Ribble Valley and White Rose Ladies, they were invited to visit Parliament to celebrate hitting the one million pound mark in their fundraising efforts.
They are dedicated to raising vital funds for research into childhood cancers by Cancer Research UK.
Mr Smith said: “Having been to the charity’s events and seen the amazing work of the committee and charity’s supporters, I was very pleased to be able to celebrate with them at Westminster to discuss the next phase of their fundraising efforts.
“I can’t speak highly enough of their dedication to raising funds to combat these terrible diseases.”
