A 46-year-old man who fraudulently sold cars on eBay from his home has been sentenced to ten months’ imprisonment, suspended for two years, with 200 hours of community work.
Russell Quinn-Lomax photocopied and altered MOT certificates to make £10,000 for himself, Bradford Crown Court heard on Friday. Quinn- Lomax, of Dalacres Crescent, Embsay, pleaded guilty at Skipton Magistrates’ Court to six charges of fraud.
The offences, between December 2012 and May 2013, included making false MOT certificates and altering milometers on cars.
