An ornamental milk churn, with great sentimental value, was stolen from the rear garden of a house in Brindley Court, Skipton, at about 12.30pm on Friday.

The aluminium churn had Settle Creamery stamped on it and the words “Happy marriages begin when we marry the ones we love and they blossom when we love the ones we marry”.

Anyone who saw anything suspicious or who has seen such an item is urged to contact PC Adam Steventon at Skipton Police Station on 101.
