Youngsters at Grassington Primary School have started the new term on a high note.
One afternoon a week, they are being treated to music-making lessons, with specialist music teacher Wendy Turvey from Pitch Perfect Music Services.
“They will study everything from composition to performance, using a wide range of musical instruments and techniques,” said headteacher Libby Wheildon.
“Every child will get to follow the music curriculum in a very exciting way. It is already having an impact on their performance skills and the quality of their singing.
“They absolutely love it.”
