High-speed fibre broadband is now available to more than 7,000 homes and businesses in Skipton, with further upgrades planned for the coming year.
And the Superfast North Yorkshire team will be outside Skipton Town Hall between 10am and 1pm tomorrow to demonstrate what superfast fibre broadband can do for local residents and businesses.
Superfast chairman Coun Carl Les said: “Our lives are more connected than ever before. More and more appliances and gadgets – phones, Smart TVs, tablets, games consoles – work best with a high-speed internet connection.
“But as we increasingly do more online – sharing photos with friends, streaming HD movies, video calls with family and friends, traditional broadband connections find it harder to cope. This is an ideal time to make the switch to superfast broadband.”
