There was a steady stream of locals calling in at the Ingleborough Community Centre to support Ingleton Theatre Group’s annual coffee morning.
The event was organised to advertise the forthcoming production of Beauty and the Beast, written by theatre group member Sue Mosley, and to launch the sale of tickets. Scores of visitors lingered to enjoy a chat over a cup of coffee or a hot chocolate and many enjoyed the goodies on sale.
By the end of the morning, £328 had been raised, which will help to fund costumes, props, effects and stage sets for the pantomime, which is being staged from Wednesday, February 26, to Saturday, March 1.
Tickets, priced at £5 for adults and £3.50 for concessions, are available by calling in person at the Ingleborough Community Centre or telephoning 015242 41701 during office hours.
