More than 60 Rainbows, Brownies and Girl Guides from Lothersdale, Glusburn and Cross Hills came together to celebrate the Chinese New Year.
They have been learning about different world cultures and festivals and gathered for a banquet at Tam’s Cantonese restaurant in Cross Hills.
The girls, enjoyed traditional Chinese crafts, origami, lanterns, and dragons and listened to the zodiac story.
2014 is the year of the horse.
