A boutique hotel at Austwick is inviting residents to enjoy snowdrop walks through its woodlands.

Over the past few years, Austwick Hall owners Eric Culley and Michael Pearson have planted more than 100,000 snowdrops of 50 varieties, which create an impressive sight.

And the two men will open their gardens to the public, between noon and 4pm, over the next three weekends (February 16 and 17, February 23 and 24 and March 2 and 3).

In addition, the woodland gardens will be open on Wednesday, February 26, to raise money for the National Gardens Scheme, which supports various charities.

Admission is £3.50 for adults and free for children.

Visitors will be able to buy plants and refreshments.
