People of all ages interested in what the night skies have to offer are invited to enjoy a free “astromeet” in Lothersdale next week.
The event at Raygill Lakes on Wednesday is being arranged by Raygill Astronomy Club and Keighley Astronomy Society.
A spokesman for the organisers said: “People who have a telescope or binoculars can bring them along. If they haven’t, they needn’t worry, as there’ll be scopes available for them to use on the night.
“The Lakeside Cafe will be open from 6pm for refreshments and light bites.”
The astromeet session will start at 7pm and for further information, call (01535) 632500 or 07976 632989.
