A 91-year-old woman involved in a road accident in Skipton is continuing to improve in hospital.

The woman, who was airlifted to Leeds General Infirmary following the accident in Gargrave Road on Thursday, February 6, has now been transferred to Airedale Hospital.

She was in collision with a Nissan Micra as she crossed the road at its junction with Belgrave Road.

Any witnesses are asked to call Traffic Constable Dave Clayton on 101 or e-mail dave.clayton@northyorkshire.pnn.police.uk, quoting incident number 88 of February 6.
