Youngsters at Bradleys Both Primary School are being challenged to read as many books as they can over the February half-term holiday.

And the pupil from each year who gets through the most books during the Readathon is set to get a prize.

A school spokeswoman told the Herald: “This is not a sponsored event but if any parent would want to donate a small amount to CLIC Sargent, the cancer charity that Readathon supports, we would be pleased to pass it on.”
