Craven District Council has released details of the pay of its senior officers, as required by the government’s Localism Act.
The Pay Policy statement, approved by the policy committee and covering the 2014/15 financial year, includes annual salaries of chief officers, with any bonuses and allowances.
The lowest-paid employee at the council receives £12,432 per annum, while the highest paid officer, the chief executive, receives £95,000. The average salary across the council is £19,317.
Any salary package, including bonuses and allowances, in excess of £100,000 has to be approved by councillors before the appointment is made.
