Craven Community and Voluntary Services has joined forces with Settle’s Victoria Hall to help people get the best energy deals.
Supported by the government’s Big Energy Saving Network, they are holding sessions through February and March to help customers explore better deals.
“Whilst these sessions will include the chance to learn how to use energy comparison sites, you do not have to use the internet to find a better deal,” said spokesman Derek Blackwell.
“The sessions will give information about the switching process, dispelling some myths and hopefully giving customers the confidence to give it a try.”
Sessions will take place at Victoria Hall on Wednesday from 2pm to 4pm, Glusburn Institute next Friday, February 28 from 9.30am to noon, Swadford Centre, Skipton on Wednesday, March 5 from 12.30pm to 2.30pm and at Cowling Companions’ session at Cowling Village Hall on Wednesday, March 19 from 2pm to 3.30pm.
