Businesses in the Old Fire Station in Skipton are hoping to breathe new life into the Coach Street area of the town.
More than 20 small, individual businesses selling a variety of handcrafted and unique gifts, socks, vintage clothes and crafts have taken up space in the building formerly occupied by Craven College.
Owner Andrew Tapsell, who bought the listed building last year, urged people to go and have a look and see what was on offer.
“It all looks really good and there is so much on offer. There’s a really nice atmosphere and all the businesses work well together,” he said.
There are 23 assorted small businesses in the Old Fire Station, spread over two floors, including a glass fusion studio and next month a cafe will be added.
It is open every day of the week, except Tuesdays.
