Langcliffe skier Emma Lonsdale is out of the Winter Olympics.
The former Settle High School pupil competed for Team GB in the freestyle skiing halfpipe event, which was included in the Games for the first time.
But she failed to make the final 12, finishing 18th place despite a clean run.
Speaking before she flew to Sochi, Emma said: "I have been skiing my whole life and to compete in the Olympics is a dream."
The 29-year-old is ranked 15 in the world and has been British champion nine times and European runner-up twice.
